U.S. Based National Airlines Orders Four Boeing 777 Freighters

Orlando (Florida) U.S., 22 July 2024 – National Airlines officially announced a commitment to order four Boeing 777 Freighters with the deliveries scheduled to begin in the next several years to meet the carrier’s global growth strategy.

In an official announcement at the Farnborough International Airshow today, National Airlines senior management along with Boeing representatives confirmed the agreement reaffirming the company’s fleet growth plans and first-of-its-kind direct order with Boeing for the twin-engine freighter. The four 777-200F will be in addition to National Airlines’ expanding fleet of nine 747-400 freighters, three A330 passenger aircraft, and a 757-200 passenger aircraft.

The long-range Boeing 777 Freighter complements the existing National Airlines fleet with a range of 4,970nmi (9,200km) and can carry a maximum payload of 102 tones (224,900 lbs). As one of the fastest-growing global airlines, the 777 Freighter order is a significant expansion of National Airlines’ on-demand customized charter capacity. The latest developments will enhance the company’s global operations commitment and offer customers enhanced cargo charter options to strengthen its supply chain movement and transportation demand in the future.
