Orlando: 20th Dec’21: National Air Cargo is looking to more than double and even triple its fleet of freighters to capitalize on the growth of air cargo, National Air Cargo Holdings Chairman and CEO Chris Alf has told me recently.

Buffalo, New York, U.S (28th October 2021): The National Air Cargo Holdings has partnered with ‘Food For The Poor’ to ship surgical gowns to hospitals in Jamaica and Haiti. Through this initiative, National has donated 300,000 surgical gowns to ‘Food For The Poor’ representatives, who will be distributing the items to hospitals in the respective countries.

US Agency for International Development (USAID) mobilized masks, oxygen tanks, cylinders and other medical supplies equating 250,000 pounds of life-saving supplies. The shipment was carried by US Carrier National Airlines and reached New Delhi, Indira Gandhi International Airport on Saturday night at 23:00 hours. Biden administration will be sending supplies worth more than $100 million in its efforts to mitigate the pandemic in India.

Dubai, UAE (13th May 2021): On the auspicious occasion of International Nurses Day 2021 & Eid Al Fitr, around 1500 nurses, doctors and medical staff members at Rashid Hospital were honoured at a special event. National Air Cargo Group and Dubai Health Authority once again joined hands to recognise the sacrifice and efforts of health workers in Dubai.

Washington, D.C. (Saturday 21st August 2021): National Airlines A330-200 (Flight Number NCR420, Registration N819CA) was the first U.S. commercial carrier to airlift Afghan evacuees to the U.S. The aircraft with 270 passengers landed at Washington Dulles Airport on Saturday around 1:20pm. The journey covered 6,942 miles in 14 hours and 37 mins from Al Udeid Air Force Base in Qatar with a technical stop In Sofia, Bulgaria.
